Supporting your business through COVID-19

Posted

At Complete, we know that right now is a tough time for all businesses. We will and can continue to support you and your business via all means necessary.

It’s important to remember that this is not going to last forever. All changes are temporary to support your businesses needs. Unfortunately, the pandemic is something that we cannot change. We’re going to focus on the things that we can change in order to continue with our service to you.

Today’s blog will provide you with some tips on how to continue with your business through this situation.

Online meetings

To mitigate face to face meetings, in line with the government advice, we suggest that you consider having any business meetings online. There are a number of applications that can be used, including – Skype, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Connect and more. These applications allow you to share your screen and share various files within a voice or video call. Right now they are a great tool that you can utilise to keep your business going.

Financial Support

Finances can be a worry for everyone, but it’s important to try and stay positive and research the options that may be available to you. The UK government has recently announced that they can offer small businesses some financial help, subject to meeting specific criteria. They have also announced that they will offer mortgage holidays for up to three months, again subject to meeting specific criteria. It’s definitely worth you looking into these options in order to support your business further. Visit their website to find out more.

Support local

Wherever you can, support your local businesses, right now more than ever, they are the ones who really need your support. Whether that means buying your groceries from a local shop rather than a big name supermarket or buying a coffee from a local cafe rather than a chain cafe. Don’t underestimate the power of shopping locally. If you need a product or service and it’s available locally, go local!

Stay positive

We know that times are tough right now and we want to encourage you to stay positive. Put your mental health first and do what’s right for you. If it’s not possible for you to go out then consider using one of the above online video call applications to stay social. Stay positive and remember that this isn’t forever.

Now is the time for us to work together and continue to support each other through the next couple of months. If you need any advice, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us today.
